I am excited

I am so excited. Judi Ward is coming to our doll club to teach. I did her on line doll designing class years ago which kick started me in my doll making journey. It was such a detailed and well presented class that some like me who had no experience in sewing or dollmaking was able to understand and make dolls from then on. I fully recommend it to any beginner to take this class. For me even though I have come a long way I am sure I still a lot to learn and am looking forward to learning hands on from her.
This was the first ever doll that I designed all those years ago after taking her class. No she is not bawled it is just the lighting and my amateur photography lol!

  1. How exciting Shashi!! I have only taken one class in person. It was from Elinor Peace Bailey! She is a kick!

  3. Neat! Like that doll too. Was this the class where you traced around a vinyl doll? I took that too but my doll didn't turn out half as nice as yours!

  8. oh, what fun Shashi! How I'd love to take a class from a professional doll maker ... it'd be fun just to get together with a bunch of other doll makers and gals who want to get started doing dolls.... once Arley Berryhill almost came to our city...but, the class didn't seem to be of interest to enough people....they have no idea what they were missing....and, so it wasn't held and I didn't get to see him in action....waaaahhhhhhh!! oh, sorry.... I'm making it all about me...hahahha.... wish I lived close by you and could come to your group....
    hugs, V>
